Electronic Sensor Designed For Loading Arms

Top Loading Arm sensors are critical components that ensure safe, efficient, and precise operation during the loading or unloading of liquids. These sensors provide valuable data input to the batch controller unit during loading applications. Vermont can provide two types of sensors for Top Loading Arms:

Overspill Sensor
Overfilling petroleum tanks can lead to dangerous, expensive spills that damage equipment, the environment, and your bottom line. Vermont Overspill sensor is a smart, sensor-based system continuously monitoring tanker levels and instantly cuts off flow when capacity is reached, stopping spills before they happen. Our overspill sensor communicates directly with the Batch Controller Unit which in turn send signal to the digital control vale to shut loading operation instantly.

Position Sensor
Vermont Position Sensor can be installed as am add on for top loading arms – this sensor is a crucial safety and operational feature designed to monitor and ensure the correct positioning of the loading arm during the loading of petroleum products. These sensors help ensure the arm is properly aligned with the receiving vehicle or tank, and they also prevent damage to the arm or loading gantry facility. The positioning sensor is particularly important in preventing operational mishaps, such as misalignment, excessive stress, or safety hazards during loading operations.
